Five Iron wanted to push their brand to be the coolest indoor golf experience across US. We had a challenge: how can we create an online identity that is hip enough for New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Baltimore?

The Task.

To create an online identity that is hip enough for New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Baltimore, all at once.

The Challenge.

To work hand in hand with the client amidst their rapid expansion across the U.S.A. delivering development and design assets for their new venues..

Our team of designers conducted thorough research with the help of potential users and stakeholders. We decided to use the graffiti that’s present in the client’s venues as our starting point and key design concept. We took the idea of “concrete jungle” and translated it into all the pieces, making colourful, urban designs for their website, app and print.

We learnt that 60% of their audience used a mobile phone to book their golf bay or lessons, so we integrated their booking system to allow a confident, mobile-first, user experience.

As the client grew, we worked close to their team on every step of their rapid expansion across the country. This required building up a dynamic workflow between our team and their internal marketing team, with training sessions, webinars and design briefs with speedy turnarounds.
